As of January 10, 2014, Halim Perdanakusuma

As of January 10, 2014, Halim Perdanakusuma, East Jakarta, was opened to the public. During this time, the airport’s operations were limited only to the interests of the military and aircraft charters.
Gubernatorial Joko Widodo jual sepatu kulit original welcomed this plan. As a form of support, first settled as part of will widen the road and traffic engineering to make traffic around Halim smoothly.
“I’ve seen some that need to be done which is to provide support to the offing Halim Airport opened. There is a problem in which, the problem is where. The road needs to be brought up next to where the same PU Dishub, later the check field, “explained Jokowi in the Town Hall of DKI Jakarta, Thursday (9/1).
Many are worried about the impact of the opening of the airport of Halim as commercial access is congestion in Cawang area. Because the available path, there is only one, namely the way Halim Perdanakusuma which can be accessed from the road MT Haryono and crossroad Cawang.
Potential bottlenecks that occur on the road to Halim Perdanakusuma Airport are obviously very high. One of the efforts is to do a traffic engineering, especially for Road vehicles from the current Commodore of Halim Perdanakusuma couldn’t immediately turn to the airport, but it must be through Cawang and entered via The Halim Perdanakusuma. This will certainly add to the burden on the narrow streets of Halim Perdanakusuma.
Just FYI, the airport can serve 66 flights arrivals and departures of each day with an estimated 9,000 people who come and go at the Halim Perdanakusuma Airport.
